VBS will be held on the following five Sundays:
July 29th, August 5th, August 12th, August 19th, and August 26th.

We will be holding VBS between the church services (9:30 – 10:30) in the sanctuary and then meeting again at Wappelhorst Park in the evening (6:00 – 7:30) at Pavilion #1 (between the playground and the ball diamonds).

During the morning session, we will be learning a Bible story, singing songs, and watching  puppets/skits.

During the evening session, we will be learning the same Bible story as told earlier in the day, playing games, working on crafts and eating snacks.

Both sessions are for the whole family.

At Wappelhorst Park, your family will be grouped with other families and rotating through the Bible lesson and related Bible activities (games, crafts, snack) together.

The theme this year is “Take the Plunge”. All of the Bible lessons, games, crafts and snacks focus on water used in the Bible.

Since we will be ending the day at Wappelhorst Park, your family may want to swim at the Wappelhorst Aquatic Center prior to the VBS evening session. The Aquatic Center hours on Sunday’s are noon to 7 p.m. The price after 4 pm is $4.50 for adults and $3.50 for children/seniors. As in past years, each family that signs up for VBS receives a free music CD with all of the songs you will be learning during VBS. If you have already signed up, your CD is in your mailbox in the narthex of the church. Receiving the CD early allows your family to become familiar with the songs prior to VBS starting.
