Serves the
mission of Hope, with the Pastor and Minister of
Congregation Life, by guiding and mentoring all
facets of the education program within the
congregation. Responsible for, but not limited to,
the following ministries: Sunday School, summer
programs, regular adult learning opportunities, and
education events around special issues. Recruits and
equips teachers at all levels of the congregation's
educational program. Seeks additional opportunities
and ideas from Synod and Area Ministry congregations.
Reviews and recommends the use of teaching materials,
Lutheran periodicals, and books of family interest
for the infusion of Christian literature into
congregational homes and the church library.
