The Finance and Administration Ministry Team serves the mission of Hope by promoting Whole Life Stewardship education and emphases for the year. 

 The Team provides educational opportunities by recommending stewardship materials for use in the congregation.

It plans an annual financial stewardship education and response appeal, monitors Capital Fund appeals, and creates ministries and task forces as necessary to ensure opportunities for all members to learn whole life stewardship and work toward experiencing the joy of sacrificial sharing of one's life and resources for Christ's mission.

Stewardship
 

The planning for both the Stewardship drive for pledges and the Time and Talent campaign fall under our ministry team.

 

 

Financial Management

 

§         Income Reporting & Tracking
The Financial Secretary prepares monthly reports for review by the ministry team and then by Council

§         Budget Prep & Expense Tracking
Treasurer prepares monthly reports for review by the ministry team and then by Council.  Annual budget preparation is managed by this team

§         Initiatives to help manage costs
Any type of project to help manage the costs of the congregation such as recycling, office purchasing, use of credit cards

Gifts and Memorials

This team tracks the gifts or memorials given to Hope.  It ensures gifts are used as designated.  The team maintains a congregation wish list for purchases not in the budget.  Undesignated funds will be used to purchase from the wish list.


Mission Endowment Fund
 

 

The Endowment Fund team has been set up to help determine the policies for a Hope Endowment Fund should we bestowed with bequeaths.  This team meets on a quarterly basis and would guide the handling of such funds.
