Youth Group |
► |
We
will continue to offer an engaging youth ministry program to our
6th through 12th graders. This year the youth will meet
regularly for youth group, which will include Bible study,
games, and fellowship time. The junior high will travel to
Chicago for a regional Youth Quake. The senior high will be
meeting on a weekly basis for a more in-depth Bible study and
discussion time. The youth will travel to Minnesota for a
mission/ski trip to participate in Feed My Starving Children.
The youth will also travel to a Native American reservation in
South Dakota this summer for a weeklong mission trip through
Youthworks. Monthly, the youth will serve the world in two
important ways – serving at OASIS (a local food pantry) and Kids
Against Hunger (packaging food for starving children in 3rd
world countries). There will be other trips and events offered
throughout the year as the schedule permits. Most events are coordinated & led by Pastor Chad. There are always adults present and often they either help coordinate or prepare for the events. |
