The Program for Adult
Christian Education

(PACE)
is a wide variety
of topics, subjects, and
areas of discussion centering on the Church, family, personal life, community, and any topic that becomes of interest to the many members of the Hope Lutheran congregation.

The goal of PACE is to
give each participant an
opportunity to learn and
participate in something
in which he or she is interested. In addition,
PACE seeks to help each
participant understand his or her responsibilities to the Church, the community in which we live, and to our country.

The courses offered by
PACE
are not limited to
the teaching of Biblical or religious topics only but
rather address the entire human experience.
PACE provides different
time schedules to allow
for each participant’s
choice and convenience,
such as daytime and
evening classes on
different days of the week.
The length of classes may vary from six to nine weeks or a one day or evening seminar depending on the nature of the subject. PACE is a long-range program hoping to involve all the congregational members within a given period of time.

The PACE Committee has been working on its fall program and currently has plans to offer about 30 courses starting this fall after the completion of the building expansion. Over the next several weeks, the PACE Committee will be seeking volunteers to be facilitators for several courses such as our new “Movie Club” which will discuss current movies and how they relate to church teachings. We will also be recruiting caregivers for children of participants in our day and evening offering.
Please consider volunteering your time to help make PACE the best experience possible for everyone involved.
